Engineer. Inventor. Builder.
Big-picture thinking.
Real-world work.
I’m Kyle Archie. I build software, lead technical teams, and use engineering to make complex operations work better.
Right now, that means a new chapter for Slokie, focused on school bus operations.

Slokie: school bus operations
I’m preparing to relaunch Slokie with a focus on school bus operations. My background in transportation planning, resource allocation, and software development gives me a practical foundation for this next chapter.
Slokie’s story began with personalized children’s books. School bus software is the next chapter, with room to revisit the books and develop other projects over time.

A common thread.

Understand the system.
Build something useful.
I was raised as an inventor and trained as an engineer at Cornell. My background spans operations research leadership at the NYC Department of Correction, statewide energy programs, naval simulations, and building my own machine learning products.
I’ve led multidisciplinary teams and stayed close to the engineering: writing software, building models, and working through the constraints that determine whether an idea will work in practice.
